March 2007: Several large 22x28 prints have recently been purchased by Moe's Southwest Grill in Monroe. Feel free to drop in for great food, live music and check out the artwork. Moe's will be having live music at lunch and dinner throughout April.
2007:Angel's artwork was recently chosen by the Hudson Group to be placed in a new store, Discover New Orleans! in the Louis Armstrong International Airport. You can now purchase matted images of the Crescent City as you travel through. It is a great honor to be chosen to represent the city in such a meaningful way.
2006: The Tabarlet Studio & Gallery is now the home of Angel Turner Dyke's art creations. Angel is so excited to have a retail gallery presence now in northeast Louisiana. The gallery is located on N2nd St. in Monroe, La. If you are in the area, please contact us. We'd love to have you stop in.
2006:Angel's fine art print "New Orleans Night Light" was chosen to be placed in 220 rooms in the Hilton on St. Charles Street in New Orleans during their recent remodel. We are ecstatic that we were chosen out of so many wonderful Louisiana artist.
2006:Angel's art was chosen recently to be used by Virtual Art Gallery in Las Vegas, Nevada to decorate a series of casinos and will have her work displayed in their restaurants. More information to be disclosed soon.
Hurricane Relief Fundraising Reports:
My goal set in September was to raise as much money possible for the relief effort. SEI corporation has given a grant in my behalf to PRC Compassion, which is a relief organization I have been donating to since the disaster. The grant was for $7,500.00. Thanks to the support of my collectors, and SEI I have been able to donate over $10,000.00 to the relief effort. I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you all !
Angel was priveleged to be invited to the SEI Corporate Holiday Party 2005 as a Special Guest in Philadelphia, PA in December, along with Kool & the Gang.
The show was a smashing success! A total sell out-which was fantastic because it meant I didn't have re-pack anything for the trip home.
2005:Angel recently created 3 custom paintings for Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille in Tallahassee, FL. If you are in the area be sure and stop by for great N'awlins food and to view the paintings. If you see them please stop in and sign the guestbook! More N'awlins paintings could be popping up in restaurants close to you in the near future.
